COOKIES POLICY
1. The Cookies Policy complies with the legal requirements under Articles 173, 174 and 209 of the Act of July 16, 2004. Telecommunications Law and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 94/46/EC (Official Journal of the EU L 119 of 04.05.2016, p. 1) ("RODO") and implementing RODO - the Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data.
2. Whenever this Cookie Policy refers to:
1) "Museum" or "Administrator of the Services", it should be understood as the John Paul II and Primate Wyszynski Museum with its registered office at Ksiazga Prymasa Augusta Hlonda 1, 02-972 Warsaw, entered in the register of cultural institutions kept by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage under RIK: 96/2016, NIP: 9512414063, REGON: 364481345;
2) "Websites" - the following websites owned by the Museum:

3) "Cookies" (so-called "cookies") are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the terminal equipment of the Services User and are intended for use in the use of the websites of the Services. Cookies contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time they are stored on the terminal device and a unique number;
4) "User" - any person (Internet user) who visits the website (and all subpages) under which the Services are available.
3. The Administrator attaches particular importance to respecting the privacy of Users visiting the Websites. The data collected in logs are used only for the purpose of administering the Services. The Museum does not seek to identify Users of the Services. No identification data, for any purpose, are transferred to any third party.
4. The Administrator declares, the Services do not collect any information automatically, except for the information contained in cookies. Information collected in an automated manner is not used for the purpose of making automated decisions resulting in obligations on the part of the User. The Administrator declares that the Services do not use so-called Tracking cookies, i.e. such files which enable spying on Users.
5. The Administrator of the Services is the entity placing cookies on the terminal equipment of the Services User and gaining access to them.
6. Cookies may be used for:
1) adapting the content of the Web sites of the Services to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of the Web sites; in particular, these files allow to recognize the device of a User of the Services and appropriately display the Web site, adapted to his/her individual needs;
2) creation of statistics that help to understand how Users of the Services use the websites, which makes it possible to improve their structure and content;
3) maintaining a session of a User of the Services (after logging in), thanks to which a User does not have to re-enter his/her login and password on each sub-page of the Services; analyzing the ways in which Users use the service, interact with content and browse ads. Authorized third parties may use cookies and similar technologies for such purposes.
7. The Services use the following types of cookies:
1) "session" (session cookies) - temporary files that are stored on the User's terminal equipment until they log off, leave the website or turn off the software (web browser);
2) "permanent" (persistent cookies) - files that are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until they are deleted by the User;
3) third-party cookies - information on the third-party cookie policy is available on the website of the respective company:
a) Google Analytics - administrator: Google Inc. based in the USA,
b) Instagram.com - administrator: Facebook Inc, based in the USA, and Facebook Ireland, based in Ireland,
c) Facebook.com - administrator: Facebook Inc. based in the USA and Facebook Ireland based in Ireland,
d) Twitter.com - administrator: Twitter, Inc. based in the USA,
e) SAREhub - administrator: SARE S.A., based in Rybnik, Poland.
8. In addition, the following types of cookies are used within the Services:
1) "necessary" cookies - files enabling use of services available within the Services, e.g. authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication within the Services;
2) "security" cookies, e.g. used to detect abuse of authentication within the Services;
3) "performance" cookies - files that make it possible to collect information on how the websites of the Services are used;
4) "functional" cookies - files that make it possible to "remember" the User's selected settings and personalize the User's interface, e.g. with regard to the selected language or region of origin of the User, font size, appearance of the website, etc;
5) "advertising" cookies - files that make it possible to provide Users with advertising content more tailored to their interests - it is also possible to use cookies of entities and third parties.
9. In many cases, web browsing software (web browser) allows the storage of cookies on the User's terminal device by default. Users of the Services may change their settings regarding cookies at any time. These settings can be changed, in particular, in such a way as to block the automatic handling of cookies in the settings of the web browser or inform on their each time they are placed on the Services User's device. Detailed information on the possibility and methods of handling cookies is available in the settings of your software (web browser).
10. The Services Administrator informs that restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the websites of the Services.
11. Cookies placed on the Services User's terminal equipment and used may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Services Administrator.
12. The User has the ability to change the scope of cookies to be collected on the Services through the settings of his/her web browser.
