Commemorative banknote Warsaw Wojtyła
The banknote depicts a unique scene. Against the backdrop of the Temple of Divine Providence, which houses the Museum of John Paul II and Primate Wyszyński, the famous Warsaw M-20 has been immortalized. Karol Wojtyła drove this car with his driver when he was Bishop of Krakow and later Cardinal. An observant eye will notice the license plate. The number WY-13L is the designation of a replica of the future pope's car, which is owned by our museum. You can take a closer look at the vehicle during various cultural events organized at the museum and outdoors, which we encourage you to do.
The commemorative banknote itself was produced in France in accordance with the standards applicable to the production of original euro banknotes. It has similar security features, such as UV elements, a hologram, and a watermark.
